Qin Shihuangdi

 Emperor Qin Shihungdi, was also know as Qin Shi Huang, Qin Shih Huandi, was the most important emperor of the Qin Dynasty of China.  Under his strict rule, he unified the Warring States of China.  He centralized the government under his rule.  He standardized Chinese script, currency, weights and measures.  He built a bureaucracy used Confucian scholars, but he distrusted them.  He burn Confucian books and buried some alive.  He started the Great Wall of China and built a tomb for himself guarded by the Terracotta Army.
